Post by VintageRose Thu Jan 14, 2016 6:37 pm

-Ya I am sorry Red and Opal, but the chat was stuffed to it's limits and spammed of course so I had to go to drastic measures and create a topic. Sorry, and if you choose to delete it than okay but most of the approvals for topics I would like to make is pushed aside by Red XC-

Okay so guys, that apocalypse roleplay you should know about by now is ready to be roleplayed!

Theme~ A pack of dogs that were used for fighting and entertainment were drugged, and abandon in an old house. The house was littered with garbage, needles, and a foul stench as it was justa  drug den for humans.. luckily they were all gone. When the pack finally escapes into the world it wasn't how they remember it as pups. It is destroyed, growth covering the streets and buildings. They can hear the new creatures that now call this place.. home..

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by VintageRose Sun Jan 17, 2016 8:48 pm

The dogs were used for one purpose only, and that was to fight.. to kill.. But all dogs loose their use and are tossed aside to rot. Most of these fights are against the dogs own will, poking and prodding at them, torturing them.. until they snap and go at each other with jaws wide open. This is the story of a group of dogs, that suffered from that life, and were thrown aside to face a challenge bigger than what they faced in the rings..

______________________________________________________________________________________

The ring... the barking of dogs.. the smell of metallic blood and the feeling of sand and blood under your paws. All so familiar to Yvette. She had gained so little, and lost so much in those rings. She remembered as a pup how the rottweiler grabbed a hold of her thin skinny petite body and threw her around like a rag doll. Than when the dog grabbed a hold of her tail to lift her into the air, he had ripped it from her body in the process leaving her with nothing. The fight was ended, as it was simply just to give her a taste of the ring, and she got a nice big whiff of it.. She was scarred for life, and ever since that day she trained hard to avenge herself. Each day she worked harder, and everyday she would go back to the tight wire kennel with blood y paw pads, wounds, and a hell of a lot of regrets. She never gave up though, and raked herself up farther into the world of the fighting dogs. Dog after dog she beat, than it all stopped. When she got to a large cane corso with a nasty reputation and an even worse bite. That was the last fight she fought, and after that her reputation dwindled due to her wounds.

The wounds were all scars now, but her human Jerome felt raising her back into the championships would be to much work and sent her flying into the van to 'erased'. She was beaten before she left, than heavily drugged and thrown into the van with countless other dogs that were usually thrown in the woods or simply locked in abandon houses to just starve to death. Either way they were expected to rot and die due to their failure. Yvette was paired with several other dogs to 'die' with. She didn't know their names, their story, or anything about them and nor would it matter. The van bumped over roads and took many twists, it drove for days only to stop a few times. Men laughed and the smell of alcohol filled the van. Though the dogs didn't notice. Finally the van came to the last stop and as easy as you could sing your ABC'S the dogs were tossed, and locked in a unknown abandon home that was needle infested and had shot gun shells, loaded guns spattered with blood and viscous animal bite marks and scratches. The house walls covered with spatters of blood, food cans and other garbage, and the stench of death. The van left, but as soon as it began to drive it stopped and the shrieks filled the silent house. Screeching of brakes could be heard along with what seemed like growls and other sounds. It all ended though, and the dogs were left in their silent slumber.

Though the drugs were finally fading, and already Yvette's thin bodice started twitching and her eyelids moving as she slowly awoke from her slumber. A paw stretching out and jerking a bit as dream world and reality clashed. As for the other dogs...

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by Pymeta Sun Jan 17, 2016 8:59 pm

Paradox stumbled over the carcass of another dog, the reeking stench of rotting flesh hung in the air like dust in a windstorm. Flies hovered around her, as she herself reeked of death, the drugs the humans had used on her were still in effect, her strange purple-blue eyes scanned the area, the Silver and white greyhound had been in many situations like this before, all had ended up badly. She growled and flung herself at the door, wincing as the thick sheet of solid wood thudded against her flank. the reek of death was going to drive her insane if she stayed here any longer. Paradox dug into her mind, trying to remember how her father would get out of something like this...

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by atlas Sun Jan 17, 2016 9:24 pm

Ares' ears twitched, activity regaining in the dog's mind as the drugs slowly weared off. Through blurry vision he could see the place where the humans had dumped them. It was filthy and reeked with blood, he would have gagged if he hadn't been so out of it. He turned his head slightly to get a better glimpse of his surroundings, dogs were scattered around the room, either dead, dying or asleep as he'd just been. He huffed, mentally scolding himself for managing to get caught by those stupid humans. After everything he'd done for them, to get treated in such a cruel way. Ares couldn't stand to be in here any longer than he needed to, he saw the movement of another dog, a greyhound, and began to lift himself up on shaky legs. The task at hand was proven to be harder than he expected and he slumped back down back to where he started.

Ares waited a few moments before trying to get himself back up again, the second time proving to be successful. He swayed on his unsteady legs and instantly wished he'd been back on the ground. His body felt heavy and was throbbing with pain, the memories from before the truck ride suddenly became all the more clearer.
They'd been drugged, probably beaten and then left here to die in some rotting, old house. Ares shakes his head, some attempt to get those thoughts out of his mind and to focus on something more important like finding the way out of here. He'll be damned if he dies in here like the few that already have.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by Lykaios Sun Jan 17, 2016 11:22 pm

Lykaios felt his senses awakening as the drugs began to wear off. He twitched his paws, eyes shut tightly in the pain of his head pounding. The male looked around, pulling a needle out of his front leg. He watched the other survivors around him scramble around frequently, but remained calm, trying to remember where he came from as he padded forwards. His vision was blurred, causing him to stumble over a carcass mistaking it for a barrel. He scanned the walls, noticing a rotting log and lowered his head, muscles tightening as he launched himself forwards, slamming into the log with all he had.
It managed to break off and he went tumbling into the grass. He looked up, spitting out some dirt before calling to the other dogs inside the house. Better to travel in a group than try to roam this world solo.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by VintageRose Sun Jan 17, 2016 11:33 pm

Yvette had finally came to he senses. Struggling to stand for a second, she found her strength and arose. Back aching a bit as she silently cursed revenge upon the humans who threw her. Sore from the beating she sat down, trying to regain herself as for a minute she didn't even acknowledge the others who stumbled awake. Than she heard wood creak and groan and finally a loud thump. Eyes glancing over towards the way the sound came. The light a bit blinding as she squinted. Arising on slightly unstable legs she followed.

Still flustered and surprised she didn't notice the canine who opened the hole. Staring out into the abandon city, the faint hint of blood filled her nose. In the distance she saw what appeared to be a hyena stalking through the grass. She gasped "What kind of drugs did they put me on."

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by atlas Sun Jan 17, 2016 11:48 pm

Despite the blinding light piercing his blue-blue eyes, Ares managed a grin. Looks he'd have to do absolutely nothing. One of the dogs had already taken the initiative and broke their little group free. Ares got brave and began walking, exiting the hole took more energy than normal. Hopefully his body would reboot and get back to normal soon, he couldn't handle the unsteadiness and fatigue.

The view was truly something else. Wasn't at all what he expected, it was actually... beautiful. He noticed a female beside him, under the same spell from the drugs. He could hear her gasp and then murmur something, before he managed to process it he was replying. "Some damn good ones." This scene he was looking at was probably just another effect of the drugs he concluded. Made sense, no place on Earth could possibly look like this. Overgrown, void of humans and teeming with wildlife and tranquil. It looked like the by product of a war. Humans were always so destructive. A hallucination. Ares chuckled but instantly regretted it as he felt his throat scratch and close up causing him to cough a little.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by Aleera Mon Jan 18, 2016 7:15 am

Jör slowly opened his eyes, noticing he was somewhere he never saw in his life. Restless, the virile got up, studying the place. So much dirt made him sick. His muzzle refusing to catch any scent from that loathsome room. He noticed that some dogs were still on the ground, probably due to the drugs the humans injected on all them.

Still dizzy, the brute noticed a way out of that nasty place. He slowly managed out, to find an odd, but pleasant landscape. The bright from outside made him narrow his eyes, till his pupils get used to the blinding light. As he saw that view, his head moved to one side to another."What the hell happened here?" he faintly muttered, before noticing he wasn't alone there.
Four dogs were standing outside. Judging their appearance, Jör would say that the majority, if not all, were fighting dogs.

He narrowed his eyes, slowly glancing at the dogs standing in front of him. "Those sick bipeds locked six fighting dogs together. What were they planning to do? Let us kill one another?" he inveighed, frowning.

The virile shook his head, extending his right front leg and giving a step forward, not saying anything, but nodding to those who noticed him.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by VintageRose Mon Jan 18, 2016 10:15 am

Yvette finally took notice to the others, but she still kept silent. Hearing the other dogs words made her chuckle a bit as she took no time to trot farther out. Through the asphalt weeds and other growths sprouted, a few trees cracked and uprooted it to. Ears twitched as her petite body shifted and she said "If I get my hands on those bastards.." She said before pausing. A good 20 feet away there was a knocked over van, smoke still puffing from under the top. There was blood spatters on the white van, and she paused for a moment. She could hear crunching sounds, the smell of flesh. It was something she was familiar to, but the sound of eating... that was quiet revolting. With ears pinned back she approached slowly, churning she came to the other side, but before she could greet them.. they greeted her. Before she knew it a hyena had thrown itself at her with jaws open and ready to kill.

Hyena's have one of the strongest bites, but that wouldn't stop Yvette as she dodged the clumsy creature. Snarling, her lip curled as her jaws widened and she took a nice chunk out of the recovering hyena. Her own powerful jaws piercing the skin as she thrashed, jaws 'locked' on the spine as it was a quick and easy move to kill a dog. The hyena reacted though, jaws thrashing as he grazed her hip a few times, Yvette having to scoot away farther each time as she would rather not have her leg get chewed off, she already lost her tail and she wasn't going to loose anything else. Finally she released her grip, muscle and flesh departing with her as she bounded away. Tongue flicking out to graze her bloody lips as she smirked "In all my years, I have never fought a hyena, nor would I imagine I would. Well at least you taste better than expected." She said, muscles flexing as her hip bled from the grazing wounds. The hyena simply whimpering, recovering than laughing hysterically at her "Hm.. I wonder what dog tastes like. Mind volunteering princess?" The hyena said, Yvette smirking "Over my dead body."

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by atlas Mon Jan 18, 2016 10:50 am

Ares watched as the large Beuceron male joined their little outside group. His fighting past was apparent on him. The question he raised made Ares ponder. Taking in the surroundings and the hyena truly did raise the peculiar question of where the hell they even were.

One thing was apparent though, the were all fighting dogs. It was a frightening fact as he knew first hand how well fighting dogs got along. They don't. All they knew was to rip, shred and tear their way through whoever they had their sight on. Which included eachother as they were their own common enemy. Maybe this could change in this situation considering how they will most likely need eachother if they wanted to stay alive. Which meant suppressing the urges to turn on a neighbor for the littlest thing. One thing he knew all too well despite his short time in the life.

The scuffle was what caught him out of his thoughts. The female he had been briefly talking to was next to a toppled van, in a clear battle with a hyena. He took slow steps forward, the fighting urge growing like a fire being fanned. The toppled van was what housed the humans, he could smell it. With no other way to get revenge, taking on the hyena was the next best thing. He stood a little ways off from the female, giving her some space but still close enough to be a presence in the battle.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by Aleera Mon Jan 18, 2016 12:22 pm

As the sound of a battle reach his torn ears, Jör could feel the adrenaline passing through his veins. His head rotated so his silver orbs could take note of what was happening between that strange animal he never saw before and the female dog that were with them a few minutes ago.
In his face, a smile of joy as he notices the strange animal was loosing. Loosing badly. "Hah!", he letf the air scape through his throat. He saw the white dog approach them, keeping his distance. But Jör stood still. It wasn't his battle to fight.
Besides that, he was still aching with his last battle. A tough one, which he... Well, he was loosing it, till he faint and wake up in this odd nowhere. He shakes his head, dismissing the painful thoughts about that night.
The black and tan male stepped forward to get a better vision of where they were. He moves his head to both sides, the pair his front legs, his tail softly swinging. "Ugh..." he murmurs.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by VintageRose Mon Jan 18, 2016 1:03 pm

Yvette's muscles still ached, but her reflexes and senses were still keen as ever. The two circled a bit, the hyena laughing and licking it's lips. Than in a flash Yvette had locked her jaws onto his side, a very risky move as the hyena has a small period of time where he can grab her neck. Yvette was experienced with this move though, biting as hard as possible and using all of her body weight she had. Her paws smashing to the floor as she propelled herself off of the asphalt. The hyena was sent falling, smashing to the asphalt with a snarl. Yvette failed due to her soreness though to let go as quick as she need to, the hyena twisted as she released and grabbed her muzzle. The hyena laughed "I could crush you right now, but what fun would that be?" he snarled as he raised her up and slammed her on the asphalt countless time. Yvette was dazed, but didn't dare let out a cry.

This reminded her of when she was a pup, in that ring.. oh the memories were vivid and awful. Little did Yvette know was he wasn't the only hyena. A female came out from the van, laughing as grabbing a hold of Yvettes right leg. The two tugged and pulled, playing tug a war with Yvette. Yvette cried out as she was thrashed around, and stretched. Than she had her advantage. When the male let go to get a better grip she ripped her muzzle from his loosened jaws, the pain excruciating but she still took that time. She than opened her jaws and wrapped hers on his muzzle, crushing down on it until she heard a snap. A free paw pushing his head to the asphalt as the female let go of her head and watched in horror as her mate was killed. Yvette snarled, letting go of the dying hyenas broken jaw. Blood dripping from her muzzle as she left the hyena to die slowly. Turning and facing the female hyena, the hyena cowered and high tailed it into the long grass across the road.

Pain shot through her body as her hind legs collapsed on her. The hyena male gasped for air as he suddenly went still. Head moving to watch the life fade from his eyes. Black curly hair covering one eye, as the tips were dipped in blood. Her blue eyes dim as she glanced over at the dogs who watched. She did not feel angry at them, as in the fighting ring it was typical. There was no sympathy, care, love.. it was every dog for themselves and those who failed to defend themselves were forgotten. Her blood soaked muzzle throbbed, the gashes on it aching as her tongue flicked out to clean off what she could. Her own blood tasted disgusting, but the mixture of the hyenas made it tolerable. Legs still quivered as she knew she needed to stay put, just for an hour or so to regain herself... but in the far off distance she could hear the taunting hyena laugh, and more respond...

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by atlas Mon Jan 18, 2016 2:12 pm

Ares watched the battle with awe, it was over in a flash, the female managed to overpower the hyena and kill it. He trotted over to the carcass of the dead hyena and nudged it just in case.

The death pleased him. Maybe the rest of the mangy hyenas would learn from this. Be an example that the pack, if they could even be called that, weren't a force to be reckoned with. Ares sure wouldn't mind taking down one or two of them for himself, the urge to fight was slowly simmering but still ignited. He grabbed the limp body of the hyena by it's nape and dragged it from the street to behind the truck and out of sight.

He was about to walk off to explore the strange, overgrown land when he suddenly remembered the female. He turned around and gazed at her broken state hard, feeling a drop of sympathy. He chuffed and glared, knowing that if she needed help she'd ask for it. His noise caught scent of more of those hyenas from a downwind breeze. He rolled his eyes.

"Get up." He barked toward the female, his voice coming out less threatening that he had imagined.

He watched the battle unfold, but observed the female was quite strong enough to take down the hyena. His hackles raised, sensing more coming. He nodded in agreement to the male and helped the fae up, auds swiveling to to the noise of hyenas scampering across the asphalt. His eyes narrowed, feeling a surge of anger from all they had been through. His head lowered, padding closer to the noises. He would take them on to allow the rest of the dogs to get a head start away from here.

Jör's attention switched to the black and grey male, moving towards the pack of hyenas. He smiled, his paws moving forward, in a heavy movement, as the brute followed the stranger male. He was enjoying all that fun. All he wanted right now was to participate the party. Of course one dog couldn't handle twenty hyenas, but maybe two could. If not kill, at least hold them for some minutes.
Jör kept walking, his head up, as was his tail. In his face an evil smile, accompanied by a low growl and his scarred countenance letting him with the appearance of a demon, with his red blind eye.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by VintageRose Mon Jan 18, 2016 5:44 pm

Though the rest of the dogs expected something big, most hyena packs only have 7-8 hyenas. Yvette grumbled and threatened to bite, the 'aftertaste' of the battle still affecting her as she felt like she would snap at the slightest movement. Blood dripping from her muzzle as she shook her head and cleaned it off. The grass shuffled and moved, but instead of the hyenas all expected out came a few coyotes who were attracted to the scent of blood.

The hyenas were not foolish.. they wouldn't attack them now.. they were forming a plan in their head and they knew that at this moment, everyone was in a pissed of battle mode. They weren't dealing with normal mutts who trespassed, they were dealing with the high-class assholes of the fighting rings. The coyotes gave a yip, scurrying back into the brush with a yelp. Yvette smirked "Hm, I thought it would be something bigger." She said yawning and shaking her pelt. The wounds still ached, but she knew better than to show her weakness. She felt watched though..

It was like every move was being documented, every flex of her muscle seen, it was quiet uncomfortable. She knew they were watching them. "Look, we all probably would love to rip out each others throats or sit around and wait for the enemy.. But we should probably find some shelter." She said, looking to see the sun slowly reach the horizon. If there were hyenas out here, a place those animals normally wouldn't live, than there most likely way bigger and way more dangerous things that now call this place home, and she was not ready to meet them.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by atlas Mon Jan 18, 2016 6:20 pm

Ares watched as the coyotes ran off back the brush before nodding, acknowledging the female's words. That seemed like a good idea, it was better than standing around waiting for god knows what out there.
"We should, and as soon as possible."

No doubt that there were more dangerous animals on the prowl, especially at night. It'd be best to get out of the open before darkness fell, hopefully into a structure that wouldn't threaten to collapse on them if someone so much as breathed. It seemed to be a harder task than he originally thought, not only was the city abandoned and overgrown but it was destroyed to a certain degree. He padded up ahead of the group, hoping the rag-tag bunch would follow along and join him in his search for shelter.

The male joy went through the pipes as he spotted the bunch of coyotes. He stopped, and lowered his head, snorting. "You must be kidding me" he said, in a low voice, to himself, then rolled his eyes. He could pick one of that to have a lunch later, but he didn't want to say anything for them not to think he was some kind of aberration -- was him?
His ears flicked at the fae's voice. He said nothing, just glanced everyone quickly to see their reactions. His expression showing nothing.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Post by Krasus Tue Jan 19, 2016 9:53 am

Krasus, another one of the fighting dogs. As a puppy the illness was barely noticeable, only a simple tear of blood would roll down his cheek every now and than.. and he still had faint color in his eyes. He wasn't as sinister looking, and he was a lot more friendly. As he got older the pigment in his eyes died causing melanism and his brain got twisted all around.. that was when not only did his mother reject him but the humans. They didn't even bother taking him to the vet, which wouldn't have really mattered anyways. From there he was on the streets, the illness becoming worse.. he felt like his body was dying as it ached and he often would lay in misery.. drooling and snarling as he felt nothing but anger pump through his veins along with adrenaline. It was like he was falling, no it was like he was in a constant battle with himself..

A gang of humans eventually found him and noticed quiet quickly that he was an unstable little shit. Twitching, often banging his head on the wall and growling at nothing. The dog paced, he chewed on his tongue and his own limbs. The dog would lay on the floor.. and when he first did that a human came in a bit worried if his soon to be fighting dog was dead. The human came out missing a few fingers and a nice chunk of his humanity and courage was crushed under Krasus's jaws. His human after chaining him up and putting a muzzle on him, would beat him senseless if he didn't win or just for the joy of it all. Krasus fought himself, and tried not to subdue to his viscous impulses. Eventually the pain of it all consumed him, and than everything went dull. The pain stopped, and for a moment he felt relieved. What didn't stop was the insomnia, the slight paranoia, and the hellish anger of it all. The illness had finished spreading, and left his nothing but a hollowed out mindless killing machine.

He was a champion fighter all that time he suffered, but when things went dull towards his adult years the bleeding from his eyes became worse.. and so was the aggression towards anything. In fact if he didn't get a daily or hourly fight he would often begin attacking himself. His humans didn't want to deal with that, and despite his reputation for all time bad ass they drugged him and he was tossed into the van like yesterdays garbage. His body reacted in a violent way towards the drugs, and the area where his head rested was just a puddle of blood as his muscles throbbed and his heart pumped rapidly. His body also didn't pick up as fast as the others, so he was probably mistaken for a bleeding out dead dog. Finally he started showing signs of coming to. Eyes flickering open as they were quiet hard to as some of the blood dried them shut. Slowly arising he scoffed, shaking his head as he was still a bit whoozy. Arising he stumbled and nearly tripped over and actual dead dog.

Instead of what a normal dogs reaction to something dead, he smirked "The weak asses like you always die." He said spitting at the dead body. Stumbling a bit more he finally found got his balance. The sunlight his him though like a slap to the face, he growled and backed away from the light a bit. The outside he heard voices, his ears pinning back as he gave a deep throaty growl. Finally stepping out of the shadows and into the sunlight of the clearing.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Lykaios sighed as he watched the coyotes flee, turning sharply when he noticed a new dog emerging from the shadows of the house. His ears perked in it's direction, noticing the blood around it's eyes. He shook his head and returned his attention to the alley, scanning for danger. The male's tongue ran against his razor enamels, feeling the cold hard canines that had been replaced with shards of titanium for ultimate destruction. He raised his muzzle, craning his crest to pick up any scents of predators that may be lurking in the shadows.
He nodded to the female's words, beginning to move along. They certainly didn't want to run into any animal larger than expected, or even... a mutant.

Apocalypse Roleplay Empty Re: Apocalypse Roleplay

Ares squeezed himself into the remnants of an office building, the only open space to enter was a broken window covered by a fallen piece of pipe. The roof was weakened by water damage and went concave towards the back of the building. It looked decent, and stable despite the hanging cables and exposed skeleton of the building.
He squeezed back through the opening and carried on with his search, looking over his shoulder momentarily to see the other dogs still in their little group. He scoffed and turned back to face them, his blue eyes sending a mean glare to the group.
"Hello? Search for shelter anyone?"
